Alaska_or_bust Posted September 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2007 Has anybody used True Alaskan Charters in Ketchikan for a fishing charter. I found them on the web. Any info on them would be appreciated.
sunlover65 Posted September 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2007 http://www.ketchikanfishing.net/ We used Ken at Northern Lights last week. Good trip we caught a variety of fish saw a lot of wildlife too. He met us at the dock right on time returned at 3 with time to look around town before heading back to the ship. Very nice interesting man and since we fish here in Michigan we didn't keep the fish just gave them to the Capt. He was highly recommended on the Alaska boards. Budget Queen Posted September 30, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2007 My family is also long time customers of Northern Lights and highly recommended. You don't see many/ if any negative reports on fishing charters out of Ketchikan. :) So perhaps, go with who offers you the space, time and price you need. Shopinpat Posted October 3, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2007 Sunlover, WE are going to Alaska in EArly September 2008 and the men want to go fishing a couple of times. Can you tell me how big the fishing boat was with Ken and do you remember how many people you went with or can you just charter with 2 people? Thanks
