Ages of kids on NCL Star Excursions??

We are booked on the Star June 19, 2005 and were looking at the shore excursions. Our kids will be 14 and 16 by then. Does NCL consider them children or are they like Disney and anyone over 12 is considered an adult? Makes a big difference on the shore excursion costs! Thanks in advance!

We are also booked on the Star 06/19/2005! My 2 sons are going also. They will be 13 & 17. My oldest thought the Mendehall glacier float or sea kayak looked like fun. So far my other son hasn't said much about what he would like to do other than he hopes the pool is open.
