stlrock Posted August 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2004 I have posted a similiar question earlier about hotels in San Juan and got some great advice. My only problem is the price. I went to hotwire and most of the 3 star hotels were $300.00 and up    Our cruise leaves in January. Would it be better for me to wait until the last minute to book a room or are these rooms normaly this pricey. Thanks for the advice, Chris
teedee Posted August 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2004 I have found that I can usually get better prices from Priceline than hotwire. Of course you don't know what you get until you bid, but if you stay with 3 stars you should be ok. IF you decide to try Priceline go to biddingfortravel.com first to find out what kind of bids have been accepted. You can also get an idea of which hotel you will get there. steveaaaa Posted August 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2004 Go to skyauction.com and you can get the Park plaza Normandie for about a $40 bid per night +$32 per night service fee. Steve
Cotton Posted August 30, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2004 You might try Travelocity, Orbitz, Cheaprooms.com. Lots of sites to choose from. Don't book at $300, man!
