Enjoy! Martita B. Martita you are amazing keeping up with the ship and the web-cams. Thanks - I will definitely pull it up and see the Pride! I hope the things Jane commented on are corrected. It just doesn't sound like Seabourn. I hope she filled out an exit questionairre.
JaneBP Posted October 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2007 >"I hope she filled out an exit questionaire." Of course i did, but as the OP said, it's often the CD who passes on the information. HOWEVER, that's another annoyance of mine..the evaluation form. It's not sufficiently specific for what I think is good feedback. For example, there is no place to comment on the guest entertainment and enrichment lecturers and the bridge team. There is no place to comment on the 'Cruise Specialist'. Is that minor? Perhaps to some. I end up writing all over and around the edges. But I think the form needs a good overhaul.
Martita B. Posted October 2, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted October 2, 2007 The 1st sailing after a dry-dock is always "topsy-turvy" and irregular. Plus this year's fall Pride Crossing was unusually rough(from my aboard source) which made it difficult for "things" to be repaired by the Crew and Officer's. As to the "waiting" issue ~~announcements should be made by the Cruise Director informing the Guests as to scheduled changes. Today's webcam is great! Enjoy watching the Pride Castle sail into Lunenburg. MB

As someone who always writes a full review to post on my web-site, I always send a copy to the cruiseline who (usually) appreciates the feedback. That way I know it gets to the people who should know. Here's an good email to use - gueser@seabourn.com

MB You are absolutely right and I understand the issues. I just wanted some facts as to the delays, even if the time frames were unknown or estimates. Of course, it's not as if I was not going to embark.

Martita B. Posted October 2, 2007 Author #9 Share Posted October 2, 2007 Go to the windsrealty webcam, scroll down to Lunenburg Harbor, click on larger view......look up, at the "upper left" by the little hill. The Pride is anchored ~~~ If you want to see the tenders come and go from the Harbor, click on the "live stream" ~~~it only allows us 2 min.'s......but I just repeat and click on again. I've seen Guests disembark the tenders and walk to the tour bus's! Fun to see them! (report is: it's COLD!) MB
