RCI Mail and Email Marketing Compared to Other Lines

Every week, I must get at least 2 pieces of direct mail from one of the Carnival Corp's subsidiaries - mostly HAL and Princess - with some kind of ad or deal for their cruises.

 

HAL recently sent me a beautiful 12-page full color newspaper-style ad with all of their Alaska offerings for 2008.

 

Then today I get an email from Princess with an absolutely stunning interactive presentation of the 2008 - 09 cruise offerings that links seamlessly with their website. This thing is so good it almost makes it impossible to not book a cruise with them.

 

What do I get from RCI? Nothing. Ever.

 

Do any of you get mail / email from RCI? Maybe I'm just not on the right list...

We get frequent e-mails from RCCI & X, but only get snail mail maybe 4 x a year.

 

Frankly I'm happy that we aren't inundated with a bunch of junk snail mail. It's expensive, and it's a waste of resources.

I just got one from RCCL yesterday, very nice also. I must get 25 a week with all of them combined and I have only sailed Princess and Carnival (that still exist) but I get from Cunard, Residensea, Princess, Carnival, HAL, NCL, etc.
