Hilton at Tampa Airport - Help

After reading these boards I decided to try Priceline. I used it for the first time and got a 3* for $49 plus tax. It turned out to be the Hilton at the Airport. Since then I have read some really bad reviews and hope they aren't true. Has anyone stayed there recently and hapefully had a good experience. Is there anything that you can do when using priceline if you get a hotel or a room that is really bad?

 

Thanks for any help anyone can offer. I know it is only for one night but I am traveling alone and don't want to be in a rundown hotel in a bad area.
