Windsurf, Dec 9 or Windspirit Dec 8

Had been debating the Dec. 9 Windsurf sailing, Barbados-Barbados, or the Dec. 8 Windspirit sailing, out of San Juan. The deal was clinched when we received a "Flash" offer from Windstar via e-mail. I have been unable to find any message board postings regarding others that might be on one of these cruises. Have sailed the smaller ship in Costa Rica, but have not been on the Windsurf. Both of the itineraries, Dec 8 & 9 are appealing. Any comments or opinions on which ship you have enjoyed more. Any one on either of these sailings. Thanks for your imput.

We got the same flash Email, and immediately signed up for the Wind Spirit from St. Thomas (not San Juan). We took our first Windstar cruise on the Wind Star last year and loved it.

We are also on this 8 Dec cruise from St. Thomas. It will be our first Windstar cruise. Looking forward to meeting new and interesting people.

After debating both itineraries, we chose the Dec. 9th Windusrf. Hope you enjoy your Windspirit vacation as I hope we have a fabulous time on ours. So far only one other couple on our cruise ship, from this board. Will report when we return. Sharon
