Emerald Aft - is there a door to an open balcony

I have been looking at the deck plans for the Emerald Princess - completely aft - and it looks like there is a door that leads out to both port and starboard sides to whatlooks like a balcony. Does anyone know if there is one.

I believe what you are seeing is the entrance to the emergency staircase. On the CB those entrances go to the emergency exits.

Which floor/deck? The promenade deck does go all the way around the ship.

Yes this is a stairwell for crew/emergency use and it goes down to the promenade deck. We took this staircase down for the muster drill on our last cruise on the Grand.

 

I know it looks like it goes out to a balcony but actually the last Mini Suite on each side on the Emerald Deck has an extended balcony.

Thanks, we will be aft on our cruise and I thought I had found a secret secluded spot.
