RCL perks on Celebrity

I am thinking of booking my 1st Celebrity cruise and was told RCL perks would transfer as the same.

 

We are diamond plus so what does that mean? Do they have a CL? Would we get $$ off a balcony? Can we get the OBC perk if we booked it on a RCL cruise?

You will be recognized at X's Elite level, however there perks are not as good as RCCL.

I am Diamond/Elite unfortunately there are no Concierge Lounges, & you do not get off anything for balcony cabins. Perks on RCI are much better then X. I wish that X would catch up with what is offered on RCI. The voucher books are also better on RCI. We still sail on X we have a cruise book for next April. Perks help but it is not everything.

I asked her regarding perks for Celebrity and she said we would not get them until after our first cruise with Celebrity. Has anyone else found this out?

I already signed up for Celebrity numbers. Why would it be after the first?

I want my perks now!

On our recent Celebrity Constellation transatlantic we only used one coupon from the "Elite" coupon booklet. That was for one bag of laundry for $15.00. We stuffed everything that could fit in that bag until the sides were practically splitting. It certainly came in handy during a 12 night cruise. Quite honestly Celebrity just doesn't make you feel as special as Royal when it comes to loyalty benefits.

My understanding is it would be after the first Celebrity cruise. But honestly you're not really missing anything as Celebrity's loyalty perks as laughable. :D
