Can anyone tell me about the "body art" they do on the ship (elation specifically, but I am guessing most are similar...) Prices, etc.? My teens would love to have a temporary tat.!!!

Dont waste your time or money... they are terrible!

 

Take it from someone who has friends in the tattoo business.. and i have 6 of my own....

Really? That bad? Even for kids? I know they are nothing like the real thing (my little bro. is covered with tats, we know what they are "supposed to look like) So, I should just buy a lot of er jacks? :)

You can just the temp ones in beauty supply stores. I guess for kids it would be fine though, they know they are fake its more "Hey we got a tattoo"

The Temp Tattoos look great when there first done but they don't last at all. By the next day its 1/2 washed off and if you go in the pool its gone. As for the price I believe they start at $10-25. Don't waste the money.

they are bascically airbrushed on, but dont put sunscreen over them or get in the pool right away because they will come right off. most of the smaller ones started at 12.

Last year we paid $25 for one for my daughter. They told us no showers (ick) or pool for at least 24 hours.

 

We waited the 24 hours and she took a shower. Within 2 days it was completely gone.

 

Then I had a sad 7 year old and I'm out $25 bucks.

 

Much better deal to buy some ahead of time (mine are already packed) and bring them with you.

 

Spend the money on a T-shirt or something that will last a bit longer.

I agree with the above posters. My kids tat was half gone the next day and I think it was $12. I wish Carnival would stop selling these for the kids sake. It just makes them sad when it washes right off.
