dkee Posted October 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2007 I've booked Volendam for Feb.1,08 the 10 day Panama Canal cruise. However, when I look at the Holland America web site, it isn't even listed as a cruise...Could anyone tell me why?
JimVrhovac Posted October 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2007 Would have your TA check it out and get you that answer... Check out this site from HAL site: http://www.hollandamerica.com/dest/itinerary.do?selectedItin=20080201:V813:C8V010&dest=C You may have put in 2007 by mistake but the cruise is listed on the HAL site. At my age have had brain farts to so don't feel bad Ruth & Jim
ekerr19 Posted October 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2007 It's here... just don't limit the search to the month... for some reason it's only showing January 2008 when you do it that way. Search Volendam for 2008 and you'll get it. :) http://www.hollandamerica.com/dest/itinerary.do?selectedItin=20080201:V813:C8V010&dest=C

BumperII Posted October 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2007 It is there and you found one fabulous cruise! We took the fifteen day Panama Canal Cruise, Ft. Lauderdale to San Diego in February, 2007 on the Volendam. It was one of the best cruise experiences we have ever had. Bon Voyage!!!!
Cruisin Kay D Posted October 16, 2007 #6 Share Posted October 16, 2007 Often the 10 nt round trip from Ft. L is NOT listed as Panama Canal but as Southern Caribbean.....don't know why..... but I too had problems finding it on HAL & other websites. jtl513 Posted October 16, 2007 #7 Share Posted October 16, 2007 ... don't know why..... but I too had problems finding it on HAL & other websites.Probably because it doesn't transit the canal. It just goes through the Gatun locks and back out again, so some TAs might just consider Gatun Lake as a "port".
