Ocean Players Club - Perks?

Mickey Mommy

Recommended Posts

On my last cruise I signed up for the ocean players club. Now that I am going to be sailing again I went to the website and it says to sign in use your OPC number. this is supposed to be on my OPC card but I never was given one.

Any ideas what I am supposed to do.

cheers,

PA

If each of us in our cabin register on the website for OPC, do we each get our own strawberries? I am thinking - probably not, but just wondering!

When I signed up I also signed my husband up. I received a email for both of us at different times. I guess we have to wait to see:D We need someone to try it who is sailing soon.

Concerning Table Games Once You Register Opc Will Give You 10% Cash Back Based On Your Play\losses On My Last Cruise I Received $1900.00 Cash (you Can See How Much I Lost) And I Didnt Even Have To Play It In The Casino I Just Took The Cash And Walked Out.

Sweet! Dont ya just love the casinos!

On our Fantasy cruise a couple weeks ago, we got $15 photo coupon(brought it to us the 1st night in the dining room), chocolate covered strawberries in the room upon arrival and a free drink every night we were in the casino...but I am sure the free drink isnt as common as the other "perks".

On the Glory last week, we got the $15 photo coupon and the strawberries, but no one ever mentioned any free drinks in the casino. I don't drink alcohol, but a non-alcoholic drink would have been nice. I think I've lost enough in their casinos now that maybe I will get this perk next time. :o

Ok, I just went online and tried to sign up and it wouldn't let me. I even went into the ready to join link. It just told me that I needed to see the casino host, when I went on my cruise and she would sign me up. I wanted to sign up ahead of time and then to let them know when my husband and I would be cruising (which is Nov. 4th, 2007). Did I do it wrong?

I tried to register online as well...and when I couldn't I sent them an email. I tried various things until I got a place where I could send the email (not exactly sure how). I received a nice reply back explaining that since I was a first time cruiser ...I must wait until on board to sign up. If you have cruised before you need to put in your previous booking number and you can be added. As was explained, only previous cruisers could register online.

Hope this helps answer your question. If you are a first time cruiser..I think you have to wait. I am, impatiently!!!!

My last cruise was with Celebrity, and I just put the celebrity cruise info in as my last cruise. It still worked, so maybe it doesn't have to be your first Carnival cruise. I cruised with Carnival a long time ago, but when it asked for the past cruise info, I just put in the Celebrity info.

We sailed on the Ecstasy twicw in two months (we're close to Galveston and the 4 day weekend cruises are a good fit) and the perks we got each time were different and so was the casino host ....each time the cabin was decorated and one item was an elaborately wrapped single can of Coca Cola ! We laughed, took pix and my DH drank it ....then in the casino the host gave us shirts, cards, drinks and keychains. Next trip had fruit and cheese basket and a drink ---but the host had changed . Others we spoke to said it kind of changes randomly.....

I only entered the bare minimum, whatever had an asterisk next to it and it worked fine. Try leaving the cabin number field blank.

the booking number has to be 9 digits, so if yours is only 8 then put a zero in fron..

cheers

are you sure?

the booking number only allows for 7 digits. why would you put a fake number in the booking number....how would they find you?

my booking number is a combo of letters and numbers.

i will call them on monday and will let the other poster asking the same question what we need to do.

I went to the site, then to the "specials" link. From there, I went to the "cruising again" link.

I filled out everything I knew (got my past cruise info from my Carnival past guest page). I didn't know my OPC number.

Per website...

If your (sic) unsure of your member number or have not received one, just place nine zeros in that field.

The only items with asterisks are: First name, last name, email, DOB, booking # for next cruise.

I put in the "9s" as well for my member #. That was all I did to register.

i emailed OPC through their contact us page yesterday.

i got a reply back early this morning. they advised my that their page is having technical difficulties and they said just to respond back ( in the email) with my booking information.

i am waiting to see what the response is.

if all else fails i can buy the 5 chocolate covered strawberries for $3 in their little coffee shop.

I put in all 0's for my booking number but correct room number. We'll see if it works. I am not even sure if I joined last time I cruised. It was under a different name so they wouldnt find me with the info I posted anyways.

I did get a confirmation e-mail about looking forward to me cruising and playing with them.

I leave Saturday.

I signed up for them about a month ago and just got back yesterday from sailing Carnival Legend. When we got to our cabin we had chocolate covered strawberries and at dinner got a $15 photo voucher. Free is Free to me!

Had you played on a prior cruise? Or was this the first time you've signed up?

We registered at the casino on the Glory in 2005, and I did re register online about 10 days ago and got a confirmation email, so will we get the same goodies as you?
