Air from PHX to San Juan

Flying from PHX to SJU Jan09 and trying to determine if there are any airports that may be better since we will have to change planes along the way. Trying to avoid airports and/or airlines that seem to have a lot of delay or cancellation issues. Any info greatly appreciated.

I'm kind of facing the same thing, flying in 3/08--trying to find a decent fare may be the biggest hurdle. Plus, I have to fly a redeye the night before due to work schedules.
