Departure times

Celebrity cruiselines usually requires their passengers to be onboard, at least 30 min. before sailing. We always get back to the ship about 1-1 1/2 hrs. before.

Not a bad idea, Karyn. :)

Hi Ted and Jacqui,

Not long now until you come "down under". Hope you are both keeping well.

We also try and get back to the ship at least 45 minutes earlier than required. It is always nice to have those extra minutes up your sleeve in case anything goes wrong.

Reboarding times are the same for passengers doing independent or private tours as for ship tours. Almost all lines All Aboard is 30 minutes prior to sailing. It makes a lot of sense for those on independent tours to plan for at least 1 - 1 1/2 hour return to ship to account for traffic delays, etc. This all depends on how far away from the ship you are travelling.

Hi,

We, in our broachure, stated that we would leave Cains at 3 am. When we left ship at Cains, were told, ship would depart at midnight, be back on board by 11.30 p.m. We got back on board about 5 pm, then the Captain advised us over the P.A. system, that we would be departing at 11.30 p.m. and we would have to be back on board by 11 p.m. No reason given, just that, ship will now leave at 11.30 pm must be back by 11 pm. Tough if ya left the ship before 5 pm, thinking ya got till 11.30 pm to return.

Frank.
