Train or Motorcoach

We are looking forward to our first cruise with Regent although we have been on other lines. Quick question about getting from Anchorage to Seward. We are using Regent for the transfers, but are there any opinions as to which will be the better mode of transportation. Taking the bus is fine with me but would opt for the train if it is that much more scenic.

The train is more scenic and more popular. It usually sells out quickly. We had to end up on the bus.:(

I would definitely take the train. The roads are fine (and can be better) if you drive a car, but without being able to stop, take back roads or turnoffs when on a bus, the train is much better.

Thanks for the replies. We are on go for June 18th celebrating our 20th anniversary. We are coming in a few days before and touring on our own, but this sound like a great start to the cruise portion.
