sp29488 Posted October 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2007 I've read where people with excursions booked through Carnival get to tender off first. Does this also apply at HMC since it's really a beach day? We'll be cruising on Carnival Triumph in May and we were thinking about just getting off the ship as early as we could and just explore on our own. Will we have to wait until all the excursion people get off or can we just go to the lounge and get a number?
rotomu Posted October 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Early excursions are offered tender spots first. However, the tenders are large and there was almost no one down at the lounge for the first tender. Get there early and you get on shore. It was magical to be the first ones on the beach in the morning. Ours were the first footsteps on the beach, we walked all the way to the point picking up shells and sand dollars. Had it all to ourselves for a while. It's gorgeous!
