I hear it is the best cure for PCD :D We tried to cure it the other night, without success. :( OP , you shouldn't have any problems getting back on with a drink, unless it's a case of rum. Maybe that's my problem. I haven't had a drop of alcohol since Saturday night. A little skeered of what my liver will do to me.

I hear it is the best cure for PCD :D I know PCD is post-cruise depression, but for some bizarre reason, my brain interpreted this as "possessive compulsive disorder". airdale Posted October 26, 2007 #35 Share Posted October 26, 2007 My girlfriend would like to know if in Progresso or Cozumel she buys a large frozen daiquiri or something can she bring it back onto the ship or would she have to chug it before she would be allowed to get back onto the ship? Go to one of those convenient stores that sell the cheap soda/pop at their fountain and buy a couple of their 64 oz insulated cups. You can bring enough frozen drink aboard for the rest of the night. I can tell right now that you two plan to let your hair down a little bit on our cruise coming up. :D Don

rubycruzr Posted October 26, 2007 #38 Share Posted October 26, 2007 WOW, I've gotten back on the ship MANY times with a drink from Senor Frogs or Carlos and Charlies and never had a problem, never been asked to drink it or pour it out  I've done this several times in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and did it Saturday in Nassau... I've also never seen anyone be told that they had to drink their drink before getting on the ship... typically there are large crowds coming back in at least in Coz and Nassau with their yard glasses, not empty and I've never seen a single problem. Us, too. We always carry drinks back on and have never been asked to throw out anything. In fact, when we were in Costa Maya, my daughter carried back on a fresh coconut with a drink in it - and there was not a word said to her. Many times we have left Senor Frogs or Carlos and Charlies with a yarder in each hand and walked right on!!

kidless Posted November 8, 2007 #40 Share Posted November 8, 2007 We have never had a problem carrying a drink back on ship nor seen anyone else have a problem. A couple of cruises when we purchased bottles of liquor in Port which we then put though the scanner we then always carried it right to our state room with out a problem. :D But before I get in trouble for smuggling the bottles we bought were for gifts and not consumed on ship.
