Can we get taxis back to ship from beaches?

Hello,

Yes there are usually taxis parked up and waiting around at both those beaches. Keep in mind that the taxis at those spots are usually safaris (can hold 14-26 passengers) so the drivers usually wait until they have a group of people before heading off.

We went to Magens Bay and it was beautiful. Very calm. We saw alot of fish swimming around us. We took a tour with Godfrey and toured the island for a couple of hours and then swam at Magens Bay for a couple of hours. It only cost 25 pp. I thought very reasonable. How much would it be for just a taxi to Magens Bay and back to the ship with no sightseeing?

Curious how crowded was Magens Bay?? What time of day were you there? We are looking for a quiet beach scene not a party beach. There are many ships in port the day we will be there so I'm a bit nervous about hitting a crowded beach.

Hello Jan,

Magens, Coki and Sapphire are the three popular beaches with cruise passengers. If there are lots of ships in port these beaches will have a good bit of beach goers. If you want to avoid this, then head to one of the other beaches.

PS. Magens is the longest beach so it absorbs the numbers better since folks can spread out. Folks do concentrate on being close to the concesssion (which is where the food/drinks/gift shop are) but if you move away from that area you find the crowds start to thin out.
