Is it possible to catch an 11:50 am flight at FLL, if I do self-deparkation and hire a private car from the Port of Miami to FLL?

i would give it 50-50....provied the ship docks and clears on time and you get off the ship early.....

the one thing in your favor is that FLL is nowhere near as nuts as MIA. If it were me however, i would not schedule a flight from there until mid afternoon....

Not a problem. Don't even bother with a private car, just grab the first taxi cab you see and go. You'll be at FLL at least two hours prior to your flight.

What's approximate cost of taxi pier to FLL?

 

Are Taxis plentiful at the pier or is there a need to rush to debark before they are all grabbed up?

The cab ride was approx 35 minutes and cost $75 with the tip.

Plenty of cabs waiting for you.
