kjaa0913 Posted October 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2007 has anyone done the 26 mile long jet ski island tour in key west?
mainer Posted November 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2007 We did the tour last January 2007. It was a blast!! I would suggest everyone get their own jetski. There were four of us and we had a lot fun. Our son's girlfriend had never been on a jetski before but she picked it up easily. I don't remember the name of the company we used. golfer1966 Posted November 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2007 It was pretty cool. There was only one part that was not that fun. It was the trek on the south side. The sea was very rough. Usually we like rough water so we can jump, but it was tough to keep going and hang on at times. Usually you can go fast and skip accross the tops of the waves but it was too rough for that, so we took it easy until we got to where the southern most point is and then it calms down aggain and then you can go full throttle again. 7/8 ths of the tour was great. Would I do it again....for sure yes !!

Bases5 Posted November 11, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 11, 2007 I was wondering how wet do you get doing this tour. I live in Fl and tend to get cold quickly.
Knights on the Beach Posted November 11, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2007 I was wondering how wet do you get doing this tour. I live in Fl and tend to get cold quickly.Me too. You will definitely get wet, so you might want to save it for a warmer time of year.
