Is Alastair Greener still cruise director on QM2

I was on QM2 and really enjoyed the enthusiasm of Alastair Greener (sp) and was wondering if he is still on QM2 or did he move over to Queen Victoria???

Alastair is not on QM2 now and as he has been appointed entertainment director on QUEEN VICTORIA, I doubt he will be returning there.

I think David is wonderful! We met him when we was Cruise Director on Caronia, then saw him again as assistand CD on QE2 (with Brian) and on QM2 (with Ray Rouse). I'm pleased to see that he has made it to the top spot.

 

When we were on the last QE2 Christmas Cruise out of NYC, he showed off his 'ham' side by taking part in the Panto and also dressing up as Father Christmas to give the kiddies their gifts.

 

Interesting background--he was in the Royal Navy. And wasn't Ray Rouse once a policeman? Do Cunard hire people with that kind of experience to help keep the passengers in line?!?

 

Question about QE2 Cruise Director. Is Warren Smith the same Warren who started out as a dancer/dance instructor and then moved into the CD's staff? If so, that seems a quick climb to the top.
