Does anyone know of any on board credit offers from Princess? Got $100 for booking on board and $50 from TA...looking for more if it is out there.

There really is no secret to getting OBC's Shopping around finding a TA that is offering credits, and combine them with an FCC is the best way. Princess sends those secret OBC's to particular passengers at times, but there is no way to get them if you weren't sent the offer.

So, the only secret I know of is to shop around for the best deal, and if that best deal includes money to spend onboard, you get a bonus.

Is it possible to periodically put my own money into an on board account to save for spending on the ship for my upcoming cruise? I have 199 days to wait . I could be putting extra money in my account to spend while onboard. I might not be so horrified at my final bill. :eek: Thanks for any input.

YES, you sure can. Just contact your Travel Agent (if that is how you booked) or if booked direct with Princess, call them. You an add funds to your account any time before you leave and it will be waiting as a credit for you when you board. ;)

There are cruises for 2008 that Princess, on their web site, are offering OBC in the pricing for booking these cruises.

I agree with toto, they should let you add to your account with no trouble - or you can buy yourself casino chips that they sell in the gift area - then just cash them in or take the cash instead of the chips when you get on board.

My DH and I received some of those "secret OBC's" apparently. I logged onto princess.com prior to our cruise last week (first time with princess) and it showed an offer for $100 if you booked within a certain time frame (oct/nov), which we did onboard. The onboard agent said she had no idea what the credits were, she said it was "Gold Mine" credits.

 

Any idea how we got them? I don't recall going to any particular website to sign up for anything. (NOT that I'm complaining, my DH & I each got an additional $100 each, plus the $100 for booking onboard plus $50 from the TA).

 

Just trying to find out how to get those credits for my friend Terri............and she is a past Princess passenger, I am not. It would seem they'd want to give specials to past passengers.

The 'Goldmine' $100 OBC is for 1st time Princess cruisers (Random mailing) - Past Passengers did not get the offer................at least that is what I've been told. Unless someone out there has other information???

If you stay in a suite or mini-suite (I think), and take more than 1 cruise a year, it might be worthwhile for you to get an American Express Platinum card at $450.00 a year.

 

It is worthwhile to investigate.
