Islander - question for Christmas Day

Hi Islander

I have written to the St Thos tourism site but have received no answer. Have also asked this on these boards but have got peoples opinions, so now I'll ask the expert :)

We will be in St Thomas on Christmas day and we are wondering what will be open

Also will the St Thos/St John ferry be running on Christmas Day

Looks like there will be 6 ships in on Christmas Day. The stores at the Havensight dock open regular hours even on holidays if there are ships there. Downtown stores will be open, a few smaller ones might be closed. Taxis will be available. Private attractions will be open. Government operated sites will be closed. Yes the STT/STJ ferry runs on Christmas Day regular schedule. The Water Island ferry runs a shortened schedule on holidays.
