Also, a recipe for a Bahama Mama (I know, I like my "foofoo" drinks, ha!) would be great! Thank you!!!:D Getting ready for my own Set Sail party :D

dwdwnurse Posted November 2, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Thanks so much for the recipe! That sounds really good - only hope I can find papaya concentrate! Is this usually a frozen item or buy it off the shelf? Thanks again!
cheaptravel Posted November 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2007 I've seen papaya "nectar" at Wal Mart in the juice aisle. You might give that a try.

cruzkitty Posted November 3, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Oh, I agree-this does sound Yummy! Will definitely have to try one next year while at Labadee!!:D
Darkwolfe Posted November 3, 2007 #7 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Oh, I agree-this does sound Yummy! Will definitely have to try one next year while at Labadee!!:D Just don't try too many! It's a drink that will sneak up on you and give you the final ingredient, a doozie of a hangover. Especially if you are normally a light drinker. Nothing worse than a Rum hangover, although a Tequila based one comes awfully close. (Having flashbacks to my college years so long ago.)
dwdwnurse Posted November 3, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Thank you for the guava juice info - I will definitely look for it tomorrow. Thanks also for making me laugh - definitely flashbacks to my college days:D . Now...does anyone have a Bahama Mama recipe? I love those, too. Don't think it would be too good to drink Labadoozies and Bahama Mamas at the same time - well...maybe on the ship:p .

dwdwnurse Posted November 5, 2007 Author #11 Share Posted November 5, 2007 Thank you Meg R! I have Googled it in the past, but some of the recipes didn't even look close to what I had on the ship! This recipe looks great, though - ready to try it! Thanks again, DW
