two cruisers 723 Posted June 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2004 We are leaving on June 25th on the Vision. Realistically, how often will we need to be wearing shorts outside? Will a couple of pair be sufficient to pack, or does it warm up enough every day that we will be hot in long pants? Thanks,
sherryf Posted June 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2004 When we went, there was one day, in Skagway, when I would have been comfortable in shorts if I'd thought to put them on before leaving the ship. I actually regretted the sweats-like pant suit I was wearing. I don't think I ever did wear my shorts at all that trip, and had only brought one or two pairs, just in case. We were there mid-July. Host Caroline Posted June 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2004 We've had days in low 70s several times. >I always optimistically pack a pair of shorts.. Last time I wore lots of crop pants..comfy and easy to pack IMHO only.
