Jolynn2262 Posted November 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2007 So I've read they serve light meals in the Sanctuary. Is there a charge? Is the food the spa selections that you find on the dining room menus? What type of things are offered and if there is a cost is it high?

It's a totally different menu. There was a $3 delivery fee.
Crusin Karen Posted November 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2007 Never went to the sanctuary, but looking at the menu with the $3 service charge, I just wanted to give you a heads up that you can either find or make all those items at the lunch buffets. I guess they charge you $3 to bring it to you???

But yes, the $3 is for delivery.;)
Crusin Karen Posted November 5, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2007 Sharon, I had the chicken ceasar wrap at the buffet on the last day's lunch.
crusdiva Posted November 6, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2007 Karen, I know. :) I've had chicken caesar wraps at HC as well but trust me, they can't compare to the ones served to me at The Sanctuary. Everything on the menu is prepared exclusively for the Sanctuary, and beautifully presented. The Greek Pinwheels are awesome!!:D That said, you can always go to HC or the grill and bring food back into The Sanctuary - we just wanted to try something different. Crusin Karen Posted November 6, 2007 #7 Share Posted November 6, 2007 Sharon, I figured it might be something "fancier" and even if it wasn't, sometimes just having a plate served to you while you are sitting on a comfy lounge chair on a beautiful ship in the middle of the ocean is worth a few $'s! ;)
