Sailing on November 10th

This is my "virgin" cruise (my husband experienced one many years ago)and I am very excited. Sometimes its good to read reviews, and sometimes it's not. I'm just glad we missed the hurricane and hopefully all will be smooth. My question is it looks like on the Ms Zuiderdam there are no laundry facilities. Is that true? I guess we just hope for the best with wrinkled clothes. Also it looks like the disco and casino do not hold many people. Is it very crowded most of the time? Actually just looking forward to some relaxing time and meeting some new friends and wanting to go on more cruises!!

Yes, there are no self-service laundries on the Vistas. You can send things out for pressing (for a fee), or use Wrinkle-Free spray, or hang things in the bathroom while taking a hot shower!

 

We haven't been on the Zuiderdam (yet) but on two other Vistas I've never seen a problem in the casinos finding a slot machine or table game to play.

 

I can't help on the disco.

 

I bet you'll come back "hooked" on cruising like the rest of us! :D Have a great cruise!

Welcome to CC. I sailed the Zuiderdam twice and had a great time. I'm a newcomer to Downy Dewrinkler and it worked well on my last cruise, although since I pack most of my clothes in plastic baggies, they don't wrinkle much at all.
