Should we carry on or check our cameras? And what about a digital camera with floppy disk???? I would hate for our pics to get ruined!!!!

Definitely carry on...you would not want to take a chance on having your camera stolen from your checked bag. As for the film, I would advise putting that in your carry on as well, and don't pass the film through the x-ray, just ask them to hand inspect it. That way you won't risk damaging/exposing the film.
