Mekong delta tour

We were in Vietnam with Voyager but hired private guides through the web pre-sailing. We spent a day in the Mekong Delta, on bus, motor boat and canoe and oxen cart. Walked through jungle area, learning about foliage and the 'American War'......stopped at small family villages/houses to visit people, watch them climb a tree for coconuts, see their family coocnut manufacturing, share fruits & listen to music. Lunch taken at a small, hygenic restaurant...We loved our day and

would repeat it in a blink. I don't know how closely this mirrors the ship's tour. Would you consider a pvt guide?

Thank you. We will be on the Voyager with two days in Ho chi Mihn and would greatly appreciate hearing how to find the guide you liked so much. Please reply here or my email:

Was the temperature about 95 when you were there?

Any info on what you did in the city would also be appreciated.
