Transportation to El Rancho Barrio Dorcas

Hello. We want to go to El Rancho Barrio Dorcas for horseback riding on the beach when we are here later this month. I know they offer a cruise ship special of an additional $20 per person to pick you up and bring you back at the end of the day. My question is, would it be cheaper to take a taxi? With 3 of us that is $60.00 just to get there and back and have 1 drink a piece. If a taxi is the better deal, should we arrange one in advance or just wait till we get off this ship?
