Imagination vs Destiny

Hi Carnival cruisers!

I've been posting on the Princess forum for a little while for my January 5th cruise and have found everyone to be very helpful.

I am contemplating a 4 or 5 night cruise for hubby and I while we are in Florida in February 2009 for a land-based trip.

Am considering either Destiny or Imagination. I have been on the Paradise (for one-night only as the ship experienced a malfunction and had to be sent to drydock... honeymoon cruise too of course!) and on the Victory so know that the two ships I am contemplating are similar to these two. I also know that Imagination is due for a refurbishment this year.

Anyone who has been on either recently (or both) and has some advice would be appreciated.

I know this is early for planning, but I want to capitalize on the early rates and the strong exchange rate!

based on some of the other threads, imagination should be back at sea on 11/15, so I too am looking forward to the reviews on the ship as I am booking a scrapbooking cruise for March 2009 on Imagination
