Voyager Dec 21st cruise

My wife and I are looking forward to this Holiday cruise and have a question for those of you who may have taken your laptop on board in the past.

How is the WiFi reception in your stateroom? We are new to Regent but have cruised many times and always found getting on the internet very slow when using the ship's computers. With 6 sea days and several so-so ports I'd like to keep up with year end financial news on the net while enjoying my balcony.

Never had any problems on our Voyager cruise in Oct. Laptop worked perfectly on the balcony and inside the cabin. We had no sea days on this itinerary, however. I don't know if being at sea will slow things down or prevent connections.
