I don't know because I don't drink it, so I didn't look. Maybe someone else on here knows.

I was on the Holiday and all they had on the Lido self-serve section was orange pekoe tea -- regular and decaf. I ordered hot tea at breakfast and was offered English Breakfast and something else (some sort of herbal but I don't think it was green tea).

 

If green's all you drink, why not tuck tea bags in the side pocket of your suitcase. They shouldn't take up much room.

I drink alot of hot tea, and I have not seen green tea. I would take some along.

You should probably take your own. However, be sure and go to "Tea Time" on sea day afternoons. They have almost ever variety imaginable - even my fave "Blue Eyes".:)

They do not keep the green tea out for all to take in the Lido area. However, if you ask a server they will get you some as it is kept tucked away. I have had it on all of my cruises. Enjoy!

It is also in the dining room if you ask for it.

On Carnival Pride last year the Lido Deck had Lipton's "restaurant grade" stuff. (You know, the stuff Costco sells in packs of three 100 bag boxes.) Yeah, I know, it's the same stuff I swill at work, but it beats falling victim again to an addiction to coffee.

 

Next cruise, I'm definitely taking my own Earl Gray aboard.

 

Also, possibly, my own coffee mug. Those Lido Deck "tumblers" are meant for taking a tumble to the deck without shattering, not for a enjoyable cupa.

 

In the dining room you can get specialty teas (again Lipton brand) in foil packs.

We went to high tea thinking it was a rasta thing, or a 420 reference, It was totally Bogus, no one was getting high on tea. All the staff had white gloves on and were serving bags of tea the with cream and sugar, along with little sandwiches and cookies, which ironically would have been great for the munchies.

 

And for the poster that was gonna bring their own Earl gray? Ever head of grecian formula?

I am a morning tea drinker and have always been given multiple types of teas to choose from, including green tea. I'd suggest you just request green tea specifically from room service and I'm sure they will arrange that for you. Plus, they can bring milk, sugar, sweeteners, honey, etc for you as well. (Just remember to tip well for special requests.)

I suggested Tetley Tea be available on my comment card as the Lipton Tea is rather weak. (I use 2 T bags per cup when using Lipton Tea)

 

They now have Tetley Tea but only in the supper clubs.

 

Green Tea and Chai Tea is available at the Cafe area but you have to pay for it. Just add a piece of the ridiculiously large cake that they sell for $2 piece! They are big enough to serve a family of 4 and delicious.

I have a box of green tea in several flavors all ready to pack in my suitcase. I love the Republic of Tea and know for sure I can't get that on board. I plan to just ask for hot water when I want a cup. Tea bags are pretty light and easy to pack. I would suggest bringing your own!!

I'll tell you where you can't get it....IN THE CASINO. I just got off the Victory last night. The casino was sooo cold and my husband was playing blackjack. I was sitting with him freezing. He ordered a cup of coffee, I ordered a cup of tea. They came back to me apologizing that they did not have hot tea available.

I've been a hot tea drinker all my life (inherited from my mom, I guess, then spent several years with an Englishman).

 

I drink plain, black tea (orange pekoe, I guess) with milk and sugar. I normally get a carton of milk from the buffet to use in my tea. In the dining room, I ask for milk, not cream, and they bring a small pitcher.

 

Wish they had PG Tips pyramid bags! Now, that's some good "real" English tea!

 

Unfortunately, you are making your tea with hot - not boiling - water. It just isn't the same.
