Love Cruis'n Posted November 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2007 We (a group of 6 adults) frequently eat breakfast & lunch in the buffet together, and often have difficulty finding a table large enough to accommodate the 6 of us. Many times we’ve seen large tables with two or three people seated (perhaps looking to share with others) but insufficient room for our group. We end up with the six of us wandering aimlessly all over the buffet looking for an available large table, and then trying to grab it when one comes available, and somehow notify the rest of the group where we’ve found seating. All the while, food is getting either cold of soggy. :( Surely there is a better solution (absent utilizing the dinning room) and I’d sure appreciate suggestions. Thanks, Terry
beth4652 Posted November 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Perhaps one person each morning could be sent to the buffet early for the sole purpose of finding a table.
Toto2Kansas Posted November 8, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2007 With groups, we always wait for our table first, before getting our food. Then everyone knows where it is located and we go in groups through the buffet line. Usually, those slower eaters are given the first wave, then the faster ones head for the buffet after they return. This way, nobodys food gets cold, everyone knows were the table is located and we still are all able to dine together.
