Orient Beach St Martin vs Trunk Bay St Thomas/John

I'm afraid that I won't get to do both beaches and will have to pick one over the other. Orient is obviously easier to get to, other than that which is better?

I just got back from both. They are both beautiful. Orient beach I would say is better because they have bars, water sports etc... Trunk bay there is nothing there but beach. So, i guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Orient is rated in the Top 3 Best Beaches in the Caribbean. Don't miss it.

Thank you for the info. I had no idea that there was really nothing but beach at Trunk Bay. I've also read that it is possible to get a massage at Orient.

If you want to snorkel Trunk Bay by far is the better of the two. Trunk Bay pure paradise. OB is ok. Didn't really care of it.

 

Pure Beach = Trunk Bay

 

OB = Nice Beach, lots of things going on (at least when we were there)

IMHO Trunk Bay is a "been there, done it". Orient is a "never miss it, again and again".

Trunk Bay is HIGHLY over-rated, and don't even get me started on Megan's Bay.

 

Coki is actually pretty nice.
