C&A Savings Certficate Question

Let me see if I can put this so that it makes sense.

 

When the new C&A Savings Certificates come out about every 4 months are they the same for every level or do the increase from Gold to Platinum to Diamond.

 

Here's my example:

 

I am currently a Gold C&A member. When the most recent certificates became available for my upcoming Freedom cruise there was one listed for $125.00 which I applied. When I take that cruise I will be Platinum since I have a Mariner cruise coming up that will put me there.

 

So my question is are the certificates for Platinum usually worth more.

I believe the answer to your question is yes. I applied a gold certificate for my Mariner cruise next Sept. which saved 125.00. The Platinum certificate was worth 150.00. I'm sailing the Sovereign on 12/14/07 for a 3 night and that will bring me to Platinum status. I was told that if I let the cruiseline know before the expriation date of the coupon (12/31/07) that I can save the 150.00 instead of just 125.00. plus, I'll also get the Platinum balcony disount as well even though the crusie is already booked.

Yes, they are worth more. When you return from your Mariner cruise, call C&A and ask them to apply the higher discount.

The coupon is worth more, depending on your C&A status. I highly doubt that you will get the Platnuim discount for that sailing, unless you become platnuim before the expiration date of the coupon 12/31/07. It looks to me that you won't be making platnuim until 1/08. It doesn't hurt to try. Good Luck!

I just got off the phone with C&A. They'll gladly adjust the savings certificate for the Freedom cruise.....After I complete the Mariner cruise. I couldn't sweet talk her.....LOL

 

I'll also get my $100.00 balcony discount at that time. At least I have a $125.00 savings to look forward to.
