This has been a wonderful and informative site to use and I thank everyone for their invaluable resources. We are back from the Grand (after having a fabulous time) and I wanted to thank everyone who responded to an earlier post on what to do between the transfer from the ship to our actual late departure from the airport. There were a lot of great suggestions and just wanted to add one more.

 

Fort Lauderdale has a Business Service where they charge 5.00 per bag to hold on to all day. You then can rent a taxi or like us, use their bus service for as little as 1.25 each way to go shopping, the beach, just about anywhere you would like. Just thought I would add this cost effective suggestion to all the other great suggestions.
