Maybe SS HAS returned! I sent an e-mail re: a Venetian Society error and I had a polite, professional response witin 45 minutes and a commitment to fix it! Bravo!

duct tape: Since you cruise with Silversea frequently, would you kindly tell us since when did Silversea change the design of their "silver box" for the "final document"? It used to be a silver cardboard box in the style of a child's shoebox. Now it looks like a casette-tape container (albeit a little larger) silver cardboard box with an openable flap top which has a magnetic seal to keep it closed (see my thread on that subject). I find that a real improvement!

I cruised in May and didn't have the SILVER BOX you are inquiring about --

the documents for my cruise in September arrived in the new box.

I don't know when the change occurred, but RECENTLY.

Actually, we did e-mail corporate a couple of times with simple questions, and we did receive replies in two to three days. My guess is, the simpler the question, the more likely it is to be answered promptly!
