Great Med Cruise on the Star

Just got back from a 12 day Med cruise on the Star (Rome to Venice). Great value for the money. Stayed at the Jolly Leonardo Da Vinci in Rome for two nights (Princess arranged). Great value, with Princess staff on site to assure everything went smoothly. Luggage was transported from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to our cabin. Very convenient. Ports were exceptional (Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia) and excursions were informative. Food great (couldn't even guess why anyone would go to a specialty restaurant since the normal dining room food was great). Princess air worked very well and at a price that we could not touch independantly. Fortunate to have booked an aft cabin (C752) and the atmosphere was exceptional. Entertainment OK where we went. All in all, great ship, wonderful intinerary, exceptional Princess service. Now looking at the Baltic or Antartica as our next major cruise (our 8 th). Not considering any other line than Princess..

Thank you so much for your review. DH and I leave on Tuesday to sail the Star (with WeBeGone) :) - she's a favorite of ours. Do you happen to remember who was entertaining in The Wheelhouse or Explorer's, we're wondering if any of our old friends will be onboard.

Also I highly recommend the Baltic - it was one of our favorite sailing ever.

Hi

We are sailing on the STAR in late January in South America.

Wondering how much of the crew/entertainment will be changed prior to the ship making the transition for the winter to South America?

Just trying to ascertain how much of all the great inputs over the last few months will apply to our cruise (obviously, not the ports:  ).

thanks
