Rio to Barcelona-Cab fares

Hi all,

Going on the Rio to Barcelona cruise and wonder if anyone knows about the cost of cab fare to the cruise port from the airport, (also the distance) in Rio and the reverse in Barcelona. Any info will be appreciated.

We just got back from Barcelona, where we took a cab to the airport from the dock. The cost was 25 euros with the tip, MUCH less than the cost of Oceania transfers. You pay the price on the meter plus an airport charge and a charge for each large bag.

I agree tgg. That is quite a large saving. Thanks much. Now for someone who knows Rio airport to cruise dock; that should seal my decision.

taxis in Barcelona are a bit more than 25 EU..and the ride is about 15 minutes to the port..for private transfers in Barcelona try contacting

a great company I use all the time..esp. if you have more than 2 people..
