Blue Hawaii Helicopter

Anyone used this company? How close to the ship in Kauai?

If you do a search, you'll find much information about Blue Hawaiian. We flew on them and they were great. Their office is close to the pier. When you get off the ship, take the shuttles that look like trolley cars, and they drop you off at th Harbor Mall, which is where their office is. It would probably be a 15-minute walk.

It's been many years, but they were wonderful. I would use them again in a NY minute.

The Blue Hawaiian office is about a 15 minute walk from the ship.

One suggestion: Request that you sit on the right side of the helicopter so that you get the best views of the Napali Coast. We were on the left side and felt short-changed.

Blue Hawaiian is the only helicopter company I would use on any of ther islands. I flew them in Feb. of this year out of Kona (2 1/2 hour ride around the whole island of Hawaii). It was fantastic! We'll be going back in March '08 and flying with them over Kauai. They have the absolute best safety record around, you won't be sorry if you choose to fly with them.

Ditto on the Kona flight. I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian. The pilot played a variety of music and the heli has a camera on the nose, and the DVD is well worth buying.

Ditto again on Blue Hawaii. We have flown on them twice, once on Maui and once on Kauai. Wonderful, very experienced pilots. Kauai from the air is amazing.
