another beach question

While on St. Thomas, we'd like to snorkle. I've been to Coki and Sapphire, and would possibly like to try a different beach. Been doing research on Cowpet and Secret Harbor and would like to know if anyone has been there? We'll be docking in Crown Point and was also wondering if catching a taxi to any of these beaches is the same traveling time as to getting to Coki and Sapphire? Thanks.

Cowpet and Sapphire are just a minute drive from each other. And they are a short drive, maybe 6-7 minutes, from Sapphire.

Thanks for your reply. So Cowpet's on the same par as Sapphire? All we need is some shade and hopefully someplace to purchase beer while enjoying the beach! (and snorkeling)

Sorry, I meant to say that Cowpet and Secret Harbor are just a minute drive from each other.

 

Cowpet compared to Sapphire... both are nice beaches, both have snorkeling, both have a restaurant/bar on site, both have hotels on site, both have shade, both have a watersports booth. Cowpet has more palm trees along the shore, also it has boats at anchoraged in the distance. Sapphire deepens more quickly.

We were at Secret Harbour in June and loved it. The beach is beautiful with good snorkleing. The beach is surrounded by the Secret Harbour hotel so food, drinks, and dive shop are all easily accessible. The beach is not very crowded.
