Grand Princess in Jan 2008 singles?

My buddy and i are goin cruisin.........worried alittle about being the small majority of singles......is this true...?

If you're wondering whether there will be single people on the cruise, the chances are very good that there will be. If you're wondering whether there will be a lot of 20-30 year old singles looking to party, that's something else. If you're looking to party with lots of others, your best bet is to book on Carnival. If you're looking for a cruise with interesting people in a variety of ages, then Princess is a good choice.

well we are both in our 40's so it is not like we want to go haywire...we are lookin for a good time and to meet new people trade storys and enjoy ourselves on board....nothing stuffy....but easy goin and not worried about trying to impress....

I'm in your age group and single and have certainly felt in the minority -- most people do seem to be traveling with spouse/partner. But that's the same whether you're at sea or at a land resort, right? I've never felt uncomfortable or out of place -- it's not like couples are making out all over the pool deck or doing PDAs across the dinner table (eww). And, if you so desire, it's pretty easy to meet other people (join your cruise's roll call, be seated at large tables at meals, etc.). So go, have fun, it'll be cool.
