space for luggage under bed

Can anyone tell me what size luggage will fit under the bed on the Elation? I need to know how thick the luggage can be. We are leaving 12/1 so I need to know soon.:)

What size is your luggage? I have some pretty big pieces and they have all fit under the bed.

Our large luggage is 14 inches thick.

You'll be fine! When in doubt, just unzip your luggage in half and push it underneath that way! :-)

Our biggest bag is a 29 inch (tall) expandable and it fit perfectly under the bed.

One person in our last group had hard luggage, and it would not fit under the bed. But, everyone with the soft luggage had no problem.

We were able to fit 4 of the big pieces under the bed(2 under each twin bed)

Also be aware that some of the beds have a "lip" and you must slightly lift them before sliding your suitcase under.

I love the space under the bed, YOu can fit all your luggage under there, and we had A LOT on our first cruise! Live and learn! :)

On our last cruise, we had 11 pieces of luggage and was able to get them all under the bed. We have some pretty big pieces because our smaller luggage fits into our larger luggage.

I have not personally tried this, but have heard that if anything doesn't fit, your cabin attendent will take it away and store it for you. Also, I have found that using one of my smaller cases as an extra "drawer" works great for things that I don't use much. Have fun!:D

I haven't been on the Fantasy class in years so I'm not sure if this applies or not.

 

On the Conquest class they have the sofa sleeper in the cabin. Under it is 2 large drawers that are great for lots of things like SHOES. Just wish I had discovered it before the last night on the ship.

 

We have been able to get almost every bag we own under the bed with the expection of one HUGE one we used to own. With that one I unpacked it and then stuck it in the closet. I used it for dirty clothes, placing a plastic bag inside. Most luggage will fit and as someone else said - if your luggage fits inside each other you should have plenty of room.
