Recipe sharing

I recently wrote to Carnival asking for a recipe for the mousse that I had in the dining room on embarkation day. I was expecting a) no reply or b) a short email telling me to shell out money for a cookbook. I have no cruises lined up with them, so what are they to gain by telling me? (I'm a little cynical.)

 

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received the recipe in my email, less than 48 hours later! I know they are not perfect, but sometimes Carnival really comes through.

Impressive. Did you email a specific department or just a general inquiry through the website? Was the recipe scaled down or for mass production on the ship?

General inquiry. It was for mass production, but I think I can scale it to my purposes.
