PoseidonGodoftheSea Posted November 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2007 I found some pics on the net but I don't know when they were taken. I'm wondering how far along they are? Is the hull completed? Has the fitting begun? Does it look like it will finish on time?
Rare Copper10-8 Posted November 29, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2007 Yes, she's coming along. These pics were taken about seven weeks ago
RevNeal Posted November 29, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2007 Follow the progress on the Eurodam News Blog. The latest article (dated November 26) detailed the ship's anchor system.
RevNeal Posted November 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2007 There's been a new update posted this morning on the Eurodam news website. Here's a link to it: http://www.eurodamnews.com/2007/11/29/rijkaart-eurodam-construction-is-right-on-schedule/ It's a report from Pieter Rijkaart, director for newbuilds for HAL and it's very good news ... the ship is very much on schedule for the expected delivery date. This is EXCELLENT news for those of us who will be aboard for the Inaugurals.

Especially for those of us who have purchased non-refundable air fare.
RevNeal Posted November 30, 2007 #7 Share Posted November 30, 2007 Especially for those of us who have purchased non-refundable air fare. LOL ... tell me about it! :) Of course, non-refundable air is often changeable (with a fee). jhannah Posted November 30, 2007 #8 Share Posted November 30, 2007 Yes, a $200 per ticket fee for international flights.
RevNeal Posted November 30, 2007 #9 Share Posted November 30, 2007 Yes, a $200 per ticket fee for international flights. :) When faced with eating $1300 for a ticket you can't use, or paying an extra $200 to change to a different date, I would say it's worth it to pay the extra $200. :)

Since I've got non-refundable on SAS I'd have to plan another trip to/from Denmark. No guarantees I'd find something I want. Let's just leave the inaugural voyage date where it is. K? ;)
LolaWiz Posted November 30, 2007 #11 Share Posted November 30, 2007 Has anyone seen the mock-ups of the suites yet? In the blog, i see the wonderful new interior designs of the inside and verandah staterooms, but nothing for the look of the suites.
