:) Approx. 4 years ago we were cruising with Princess ( Regal ) out of OZ. and we had a very interesting & different entertainer, He was a tall thin man with long hair a former Brit that lived in OZ he was so good that they scheduled extra performances and the theatre was packed . Has anyone seen this guy lately I would just love it if he came on the w/c also the Piano player that is like Elton John. Graham::D

The Mirth Giver is Frank Berry; I haven't seen him in a few years now, but have seen him mentioned on CC since. There were a few years there that he was on every cruise I took.

I think I first saw him on my '92 cruise, and remember him well from the final voyage of the Rotterdam V, in Sept. '97.

I would love to see him again. :)

I think you are referring to Frank Berry, a motivational comedian. I think we last saw him on the Statendam in 2003. Word spread and it was SRO++ for his second show, later, on this particular cruise.

I think he was a CD with HAL 25+/- years ago.

He will be part of the headline entertainment on Crystal, this winter, in Asia.

We just completed the transatlantic crossing on the Prinsendam last Saturday and Frank was one our entertainers on the crossing part of the itinerary. He did one evening performance and then an afternoon "lecture".

We'd seen him before and enjoyed him as much this time as the first. I don't recall which line or ship we'd first seen him on, but know it was within the last two and a half years.

We saw Frank Berry, the Mirth Giver, on two succesive cruises on the Ryndam, a Panama Canal cruise in October, 2000, and a South America-Antarctica cruise in January, 2002. I love his oreo cookie shaggy dog story! During one of his "lectures" in the Explorer's Lounge I happened to be sitting directly in front of him and had the pleasure of being his foil. :D You know the line: "Do you want to know?? Well, I'm going to tell you".
