Does anyone know if I took a bus to Grand Case, could I catch a cab there to Orient Beach? How much would the cab cost for 4? The bus doesn't go to Orient Beach, does it?

I don't know that you'll find a taxi in Grand Case unless you called one. You'd be better off just getting one from the port to go straight to Orient rather than bus to Grand Case and go to Orient from there.

 

Is there a reason you wanted to go to Grand Case?

MGC: The reason I wanted to take a bus to Grand Case was, Iwanted to stop at marigot the get a bus to Grand Case & then go to Orient Beach. It seems that taxis are a little expensive here, so I think I will forget this idea.

My cruise (Legend of the Seas) will only be in St. Marten from 2pm to 6:30. Can we catch a taxi to Orient and will there be taxis at the beach to take us back to the dock??? Which part of Orient Beach should we go to (mother mid-50's, son 19, daughter 17).

YES! They basically fight over who gets to take you, just like in Miami. There is a roundabout near bikini beach where we found a TON of taxis to take us back. The taxis are waiting for you at port. It was $7 pp with full taxis for us. Probably could have talked them down, but didn't really feel like fighting :D
