Price of alcohol in San Juan

Has anyone recently purchased any alcohol in San Juan? Is it as cheap as it is in St Thomas or St Maarten?

depends, Rum (Puerto Rican rum) is cheaper.

Not recently, but there are some liquor prices from 2004 posted in my PhotoBucket.

 

There may be some Puerto Rican Rums that are cheaper or only available there, but I cannot imagine liquor any cheaper than in St. Maarten.

So what kinds of liquor are available where??

 

I have found a Margaritteville tequila that I really like. Only one of the local liquor stores carry it. We will be traveling to San Juan, St Maarten, St. Lucia,Antiqua, Barbados, and St. Thomas. Where would be our cheapest place. Also wondered how the prices at the airport compare. That way we wouldn't have to put in checked luggage.
