ReadyToFloat Posted December 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2007 We were there and stayed at the hotel when it was the La Jolla de Mismaloya. It's now the Barcelo La Jolla de Mismaloya and has turned into an all inclusive resort. You might be able to contact the hotel and see if you can access the beach via the property or use the property for a day. They had a very large beach overlook that was paved, and some steps to the beach. If you want some pictures, link here and click on candid traveler photos. (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g150793-d153550-Reviews-Barcelo_La_Jolla_de_Mismaloya-Puerto_Vallarta_Pacific_Coast.html) The Barcelo website is (http://www.barcelo.com/BarceloHotels/en-GB/Hotels/Mexico/PuertoVallarta/LaJollaDeMismaloya/Home) This was a very nice property in the past with some of the best pools we've had in PV. ReadyToFloat Posted December 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 13, 2007 The Westin allows day access (go through the hotel concierge or go to Nikki Beach Club at the Westin) and has a large concrete area with beach access that is quite flat and without many steps. It is also near the Marina where there is nice shopping, restaurants and wide paved walkways. There's also a Millenium Massage place at the Marina, the same outfit (and prices) as at the Krystal. The Marina is essentially right across the street from the Westin.
